We just spoke with Irina. The Interpol clearances are not in yet, but she believes they could be in on Wednesday morning. We should have our Conclusion from the SDA on Friday morning also, and with that we can officially see the Judge. Ira talks with the Judge everyday it seems, and she will talk with her on Friday once we have our Conclusion from SDA. Ira does not want to guess or promise but says she will ask the Judge on Friday if we can have our court hearing on Monday. She does not know if this will happen because many people must get invitations to this court hearing: Orphanage Director, Inspector, etc. But she will ask.
This isn't exactly what we wanted to hear. We'd like to have court this very minute so we can start clicking off the 10 days! But the peace of God has set in. He has reminded my heart that we will not remain here one moment longer than His will allows. And we know His will is perfect and so is His timing. He knows our heart's desire to take Slava and return home to our family asap. We have surrendered ourselves to His perfect will. As I've been reading the book of John, the Lord has been showing me that all throughout people were looking for answers in the natural. How to feed 5,000 people? How to be made well? Ho to drink living water? etc. etc. But Jesus didn't accomplish these things in the natural. We must look beyond our natural ability and the way things appear and what someone tells us. We must look to Him, our Lord who accomplishes the impossible for His glory. Have I mentioned that the name Slava means "glory, praise"?
So please keep praying & believing that nothing is impossible with God. May the peace of our Lord be yours tonight as well.
